FAQ

How would you describe your style?

I am a natural light photographer. I like to capture moments candidly, showing raw emotion.  I have a relaxed approach to capturing portraiture naturally and love to highlight the beauty in the surrounding environment.

I feel a little awkward having my photo taken, is this okay?

One hundred percent! I have a relaxed approach to shooting. I really don’t enjoy being in front of the camera myself! And so empathise completely with clients that are a little shy or feel slightly awkward having their photo taken. I hope to put clients at ease making the experience as enjoyable as possible.

How do I book?

You can get in touch here.

I would love to chat. Whether it be about your special day, an event or a family shoot out on location.

I require a small non-refundable deposit to secure your chosen date. The remaining balance for wedding photography is due twenty eight days before your date. The remaining balance for family photography is due on the day.

All bookings are covered by an electronic photography agreement.

When will my photos be ready?

Wedding photographs are delivered within twenty eight days of your date.

I return your family photo proofs to you within seven days of your shoot. And then again, when you have chosen your final photos return them to you within seven days. This can be a very quick turn around. I have returned proofs and final photos within twenty four hours!

What equipment do you use?

I use professional Canon equipment with Canon's highest megapixel full frame DSLR EOS camera to date. This enables me to capture every detail in the highest quality. I use a range of professional prime lenses from Canon. I shoot with two identical camera bodies and a variety of lenses to capture every moment!

How far in advance do I need to book?

For weddings, I recommend booking as soon as you have booked your venue. I have availability for 2021, 2022 and 2023.

Family photography can be booked up to a year in advance.

How many photos do you take?

I take on average five hundred to seven hundred photographs per hour.

If it is wedding photography that I am providing, I select the absolute best images to deliver to you. All photographs are individually edited.

If you're opting for a family shoot I send the top fifty to one hundred watermarked proofs to you. From there you can take your time to choose your favourite images.  Then, I individually edited and digitally send your final photographs to you.

My children haven't had a photo shoot before, what if they don't smile for the camera?

I am highly experienced in working with children. I taught as a full-time primary school teacher for seven years. I aim to capture your child's enjoyment in natural environments, such as parks, woodlands, beaches or in the comfort of their own home.

Can I print and share my photos?

Yes! You have personal use rights to share and print your photos as much as you would like. I would love for you to tag me in your photos on Facebook and Instagram (@tiffanylsphotography) too so that other couples and families can see what I do! All I ask is that my photos are not edited as they are a representation of my work.

Do you offer the original photos (RAW files)?

Unfortunately, I can't offer the original, RAW files as they do not represent my work.

What happens if you can't make my wedding?

It has never happened before but if I cannot make your wedding I have experienced photographer friends that would love to step in and capture your big day!

Are there any hidden costs?

Are you fully insured?

Yes, I am fully insured. I have business, public liability and indemnity insurance. I am more than happy to share my insurance certificate if it is required by your venue.
